Book talks and signings

Habbies Howe, a 10,500 acre property in the Highlands north of Yea, is where grazier Dick Webb trained more than eighty jackaroos.
It is here that 17 year-old Michael Thornton is sent to learn about wool from the lamb up before he joins the family woolbuying business. His initiation is excruciating. Everything goes wrong, even his attempt at resigning doesn't work. Yet he goes on to be a jackaroo on four properties, including a year spent as a jackaroo for Malcolm Fraser at Nareen.
At these events Michael will discuss his fascinating time as a jackaroo.
